About Me

I’m happy you’re here. My name is Cassidy and this is my website — essentially a digital space where I keep my passions, experiences, and musings in one place.

I currently live in Queenstown, New Zealand. My boyfriend and I decided to venture out and try something new for the time being. My intention here is to expand my horizons, grow as a person, deepen my yoga and spirituality practice, and to just live.

I move my body every day, I love being in nature (the mountains, forest, ocean…you name it) and ceramics is my art from of choice. I love to read anything from fiction novels to self-development books, and I enjoying baking and experimenting with healthier sweet treats. I’m a wellness fanatic and have robust morning and night routines...think dry brushing, cold and hot therapy, meditation, journaling, tapping, breath work, and lymphatic drainage just to start. (:

I’ve been living out my dream of being a yoga teacher. I’m extremely passionate about yoga and have been since I took my first hot yoga class at age 16. I underwent teacher training in with CorePower yoga in late 2022 and began teaching heated vinyasa power yoga in early 2023. I taught regularly with CorePower Yoga in San Francisco and later San Diego, where I added Yoga Sculpt to my roster. I now teach a variety of classes across multiple yoga studios here in Queenstown, with a focus on my favorite, power vinyasa. My teaching style has developed into one of creative flow-based sequences with pauses of power holds, twists, and deep stretches incorporated.

I’m also a lover of beauty and self-care. To me, beauty is an act of self expression, self love, and a form of wellbeing. I’ve been extremely passionate about wellness for over 10 years. I truly enjoy learning about the human body and mind and how to optimize your life experience with the art of being well. What I’ve learned over the years is that beauty and wellness are ingrained in each other. I see them as two interconnected practices that impact my daily life.

For background — I’m from San Diego, lived in Oregon for school, and then moved to San Francisco for work and play. I previously worked for a public relations agency in the consumer, tech, and VC space.
